QBTime Manager Documentation

QBTime Manager extends QuickBooks Time with user/schedule management and automated attendance reporting — for example, a scheduled daily email listing who clocked in and who was scheduled but did not clock in. It manages multiple QuickBooks Time accounts (companies) under a three-tier hierarchy and is built to support multiple customers.

Pick your guide

  • User Guide

For managers. Signing in, the dashboard, managing users and schedules, running and reading reports, the activity log, and notifications.

  • Administrator Guide

For customer administrators. Connecting QuickBooks Time companies, managing accounts, scheduled reports, rotating secrets, security, and troubleshooting.

What QBTime Manager does

  • Multi-company management — connect each QuickBooks Time account (company) once; switch between them; all data isolated per company.
  • People & schedules — view, add, edit, and archive users; build schedules in a weekly grid with coverage-gap and conflict highlighting.
  • Attendance reporting — present / late / absent / in-progress / unscheduled, computed in each company's timezone, with manual on-screen runs and automated scheduled email reports.
  • Oversight & security — mandatory MFA, an append-only hash-chained activity log, per-company health/status, and a DevOps control plane with audited impersonation.
